What are the differences between AAVE V2 and V3, and should I consider upgrading?
I've been using AAVE V2 for some time and am considering moving to V3. Can anyone provide a breakdown of the key differences between these versions? Specifically, what new features does V3 offer, and are there any performance or security improvements that make it worth upgrading? I’d love to hear from someone who has experience with both versions to help make an informed decision.

AAVE V3 brings several enhancements over V2. Key differences include:
- New Features: V3 introduces features like Isolated Pools, Portal (cross-chain functionality), and Concentrated Liquidity. Isolated Pools allow users to lend and borrow more specific assets without affecting the broader liquidity pool. The Portal feature enables users to move assets between different blockchain ecosystems seamlessly.
- Performance Improvements: V3 has improved gas efficiency and more optimized smart contracts, leading to faster transactions and lower fees.
- Security Enhancements: V3 includes tighter risk management and more flexible collateral options.
Upgrading to V3 could offer enhanced features and greater security, especially if you want to access cross-chain borrowing and lending or leverage concentrated liquidity.
